Not holding temperature
The box is warmer than the setpoint or slowly climbing. Usually a refrigerant, compressor or airflow problem on the condensing unit.
Compressor or suction line iced over
Frost on the compressor body or the copper line means liquid refrigerant is flooding back or the charge is wrong. Running it that way shortens the compressor's life.
Evaporator coil frozen solid
A coil packed with ice cannot move air. The defrost timer, heater or fan is usually the cause, not the ice itself.
Fan not running or running loud
