Common problems we repair

Not filling or overfilling

Fill valve, float switch, pressure switch or a clogged inlet screen.

Wash or rinse water not hot enough

Tank heater, booster heater, thermostat or a contactor that is not pulling in.

Not draining, water left in the tank

Drain pump, drain valve, blocked drain hose or a clogged scrap screen.

Dishes come out dirty or spotted

Blocked wash or rinse arms, low wash pressure, scale, detergent or rinse-aid pump failure.

Cycle will not start or stops midway

Door switch, timer or control board, or a safety that opens on low water.

Leaking from the door or the base

Door gasket, hose clamps, pump seal or a cracked tank.

When the dish machine stops, the kitchen stops soon after. Fix Time Appliance Repair repairs commercial dishwashers for restaurants, cafes, bars, schools and hotels across the Santa Clarita Valley, the San Fernando Valley, Burbank and Glendale.

Commercial dish machines are mostly plumbing, heat and timing: a fill valve or float that fails, a wash pump or drain pump that quits, a booster heater or element that no longer reaches rinse temperature, a rinse arm blocked with scale, a door switch or timer that stops the cycle. High-temp machines need their heaters; low-temp (chemical sanitizing) machines need working chemical pumps. We test each stage of the cycle to find where it stops.

Tell us the make and model and whether it is a high-temp or low-temp machine when you call.

How a service call works

  1. Call or send a request

Tell us the equipment, the symptom and the address. A photo of the data plate helps us bring the right part.

  2. On-site diagnosis

The technician comes to your business Monday through Saturday and checks the whole system, not only the part that looks broken.

  3. Price before the repair

You get the repair price after the diagnosis and approve it before any work starts.

  4. Repair and test

Common parts are on the truck; special-order parts get a lead time. We confirm the unit holds temperature or runs a full cycle before we leave.

Denis replaced a broken part within my LG refrigerator. He was amazing!! He arrived and immediately knew what the problem was. He had me send him a photo and model # the night before. He did his homework before arriving. His charges very fair for amount of work and had the replacement part with him. Very knowledgeable, cleaned up afterwards. I called him on Friday night. He was at my house at 9:00 am on Saturday. I will definitely be using him from now on!!

Thought I would have a quiet President's Day. Had to call Fix Time to repair the dryer. Best decision I could have made. Denis was outstanding. Not only did he diagnose and repair the dryer in a short amount of time. He then went above and beyond and checked out the other appliances. Can't thank him enough as there was a water leak in the refrigerator. Nice catch Denis. You are now our go-to person for any problem in the future.

My repair technician, Denis Shevtsov, was first rate. He arrived on time and was very thorough in ascertaining the problem with my gas stovetop range. Denis ordered the necessary parts right away and came back to repair the stove as soon as the parts were delivered. Denis was extremely polite and professional in explaining what he did and making sure the cooktop was working well once he finished the repair. Very grateful for the excellent service!

Excellent skill and service! Denis is reliable and honest. He took apart our 25 year old washing machine, found the problem, repaired it, and reassembled the machine quickly and skillfully! He made it look easy. I'd say he's a Master technician. We have had him out for three separate service calls and will always call him for repairs. His pricing is very fair. He returns texts / calls asap. He gets the job done right the first time!

Questions business owners ask

Do you repair Hobart dishwashers?
Yes. Hobart, Jackson, CMA, Champion and Insinger door-type, undercounter and conveyor machines are the ones we see most.
Why are my dishes still dirty after a cycle?
Usually low wash pressure or blocked arms: scale, a weak wash pump or a clogged screen. Water that is not hot enough is the other common reason on high-temp machines.
Is my machine high-temp or low-temp?
High-temp machines sanitize with 180°F rinse water and have a booster heater; low-temp machines sanitize with chemical and run on regular hot water. The data plate or the chemical pumps on the side tell you. Either way, we repair both.
How long does a dishwasher repair take?
Fill valves, floats, thermostats, door switches and pumps are common parts and often a one-visit repair. Control boards and booster heaters for some models need to be ordered.
Will I get a price before the repair?
Yes. After the diagnosis you get the repair price and approve it before any work starts. The diagnostic visit itself is quoted when you call, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Which areas do you cover?
Santa Clarita Valley, San Fernando Valley, Burbank and Glendale. Service calls run Monday through Saturday.

Dish pit backing up?

Send the make and model. We will call back to schedule the visit.
